What is Invisalign®?
Invisalign® is a brand of clear aligner treatment, sometimes called invisible braces. Instead of brackets and wires, it uses a series of thin, custom-made plastic trays that gradually move your teeth into a planned position.
Each set of aligners is worn for around 20 to 22 hours a day and changed every week or two. Dr Naeem plans every stage from a 3D digital scan of your teeth, and you can see a preview of how your teeth are expected to move before treatment begins.
Invisalign® can be used on its own, or as the first step of a smile makeover, straightening teeth before whitening or composite bonding for a more natural result.
Invisalign® can help with
- Crowded or overlapping teeth
- Gaps between teeth
- Some overbites, underbites and crossbites
- Protruding front teeth (overjet), in suitable cases
- Teeth that have moved since wearing braces
- Straightening before bonding or veneers

Her treatment took six months, with five appointments.

Ask a questionIt depends on how much your teeth need to move. Minor cases can take a few months, while more complex cases take longer. You will receive an estimated timescale with your digital plan.
The cost depends on the complexity of your case. Guide prices are shown above, and your exact price is confirmed after your 3D scan.
You may feel some pressure for a day or two when you start a new set of aligners. This is normal and a sign that the aligners are working.
Aligners should be removed to eat and to drink anything other than water. Brush your teeth before putting them back in.
Clear aligners are very discreet. Most people will not notice them unless you tell them.
Yes. Teeth naturally tend to drift after straightening, so wearing retainers as advised is the key to keeping your results.
Some overbites and protruding front teeth can be improved with Invisalign®. Dr Naeem will assess your bite and tell you honestly whether aligners are the right option.
Both can straighten teeth well. Invisalign® is more discreet and removable, while fixed braces may suit some complex cases better. We will recommend what suits your teeth.
